Manav graduated with master's degree in Nanotechnology from Amity University, India. He worked on Quantum Dots and Organic Electronics during his summer internships, complemented with a long-term project on VLSI Design & Simulation using CAD/EDA tools on open source platform at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. During his master's thesis at IMEC, Belgium, he developed a novel UV Lithography process to fabricate Ferroelectric Field-effect Transistors, towards realising cheap Non-volatile Memory for RFID applications.

He joined the EU MICACT in June' 2015, and is presently working as a PhD researcher in the group of Assoc. Prof. Edwin Jager at Linköping University, Sweden. He investigates novel microfabrication methods for Ionic Electroactive Polymer Microactuators, with application towards multifunctional devices for biomedical technology.
